We are now looking for a special teacher/special educator for grades 7-9, preferably with qualifications in mathematics.

Job Description

We are now looking for a special teacher/special educator for grades 7-9, preferably with qualifications in mathematics. The work may take place in full classes, smaller groups, or individually. The work will also include some administration, such as developing action plans and assessments, etc.

You will be part of one of our teams where you will collaboratively plan and be responsible for the students' education and development. Your focus will be on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. Your role will also include mentorship.

Qualifications

You who apply are a special teacher/special educator with qualifications for teaching in grades 7-9, preferably in mathematics. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

About the Workplace

Roslagsskolan is centrally located in beautiful Norrtälje, which provides varied opportunities for learning through proximity to nature, businesses, and sports facilities. At Roslagsskolan, approximately 450 students in grades 7-9 are distributed across 5 teams. About 70 dedicated employees work here, nearly 50 of whom are educators who, with great subject pride, create an environment that best promotes learning. Employment Form

Full-time, permanent upon presentation of diploma/teacher certification. In the case of a permanent position, a probationary period may be applied. Start date according to agreement. Selection work and interviews will be conducted continuously during the advertising period.
